Owned by TV foodie personality, José Pizarro who you may also know from one of his many restaurants, knows his Spanish cuisines. The chef grew up in the small Spanish village of Talaván in Cácerers and its in his restaurant he brings this village to life in the UK with his passion for tapas and Spanish flavours. His menus are designed around sharing, featuring classic spanish dishes like Arroz de alcachofas y pimientos con allioli rojo and Ventresca de atún rojo Gadira con zanahoria.

El Norte
To experience the effortless Mayfair elegance, indulge yourself in El Norte, created by Spanish twins Arian and Alberto Zandi who are also the names behind Zuaya, Riviera and Como Garden. The signature dish here includes the indulgent truffle and Manchego cheese tortilla, creamy ham croquettes with guacamole; glazed Iberian pork with celeriac puree; and Dénia carabineros with olive oil and garlic.

Barrafina
There are five Barrafina in London, the original site is on Soho’s Dean Street. Each restaurant has an open kitchen, all decorated to picturesque perfect with a beautiful marble topped bar and an intimate number of stylish red leather stools where guests can sit and watch their cuisine masterpieces come to life. Also elevated by the fine attention to details in serving their specialised modern Spanish tapas, filled with favourites including prawn and piquillo pepper tortilla; cured monkfish; chicken thigh with romesco; and patatas bravísimas.
The Dean Street is walk-in only, whilst the other locations welcome bookings and walk ins. Alternatively you could indulge in their private dining experience.

Parrillan
Alfresco Parrillan is all about DIY tabletop grilling partnered with some of the best outdoor seating in Coal Drops Yard. The divine restaurant is named after the Spanish word ‘parilla’ meaning grill. Some of the menu highlights include oxtail and kale from the wood fire oven alternatively mussel and grilled quid from the grill and for dessert indulge in lemon meringue pie with lemon sorbet.

The name ‘Sabor’ translates to ‘flavour’ in Spanish and that is guaranteed when dining in this family-run restaurant inspired by the tapas bar of Andalucía, the seafood restaurants of Galicia and the asadors of Castile.
The restaurant is split into three distinct sections. Begin on the ground floor where you’ll find the counter serving up a daily changing menu of fish. All freshly prepared by the in-house fishmonger. This area operates as walk-ins only.
Follow the spiral staircase to El Asador. The home to banquette seating and an open kitchen, the space specialises in dishes from the Galicia and Castile regions. Here you should expect wonderful wood-fired specialities.
